We would love to introduce ourselves to you!

We are Michèle & Sergio, two friends in our thirties, both living on a part of the houseboats that we are renting out

Michele grew up together with her borther Tom on a houseboat of her father on the Amstel river! Growing up with the freedom and holiday feeling of a houseboat in the middle of Amsterdam left them wanting their own houseboat.

Michèle was the first when she was 21 she bought an old little boat in de Pijp and started the adventure of designing a completely new houseboat (the boat that she lives on now). Her brother Tom followed only 4 years later and bought his boat called 'The Menucha' situated in de Jordaan. Tom moved out a few years ago to hunt for new adventures. And now Sergio is living in the Menucha.

Michèle studied international health, loves to dance and started a little online shop in curiosities from her travel destinations called Ama which you can find on Instagram!

Both of us love travelling the world but equally love coming home to our houseboats in the canals of Amsterdam and hosting all you lovely guests! We hope to welcome you soon on one of our houseboats.
